Stones Pelted at Movie Theater for cancelling Petta shows!

The first morning show of Rajinikanth's Petta at AGS Theatre, one of the well known theaters at Chennai seem to have been cancelled for reasons unknown, which suffice to say had left fans disappointed.

Problem at ags navalur. Without any prior notice they cancelled 7:30 show Poor response from staffs.

Hi, does anyone have one ticket (10 am or 11 am show) for #Petta at Ags Navlur or S2 Thiruvanmiyur or Arvind Theatre. Help me this wonderful @agscinemas cancelled my show.

7am show folks at AGS Navalur staged a sit-in and refused to move. Being allowed in for #Petta now. The passion of cinema in this state always is something!

As a result an angry bunch were witnessed pelting stones at the theater which sadly is said to have left the front glass of the property broken.

Added to this, the theater also saw a 1 hour delay in the 10. 30 AM show which was also mentioned by a user on twitter.
