Actor-director duo Ajith and Siva who were last seen in Vivegam earlier this year are returning to the big screen with Viswasam and the film which is slated for a Pongal, 2019 release has its trailer release recently. 

The trailer went on to amass 1 Million Likes on YouTube within its first 6 hours and 55 minutes, thus becoming the fastest South Indian movie trailer to reach that feat in YouTube history and the first Tamil movie trailer to do it too. [Previously, Mersal and Sarkar teasers had done these numbers, but the among the trailers, no Tamil film had reached this feat in just one day]. 

Viswasam Trailer which was trending at No. 1 within 7 hours of its release on YouTube has so far amassed more than 10 million views on YouTube. Watch the trailer here:


Viswasam is touted to be a rural-drama and features Ajith Kumar in two different looks. The film which also stars Nayanthara in the lead is expecting a teaser release in another 10 days' time. i.e. shorty after Christmas day this year.
