Shankar, Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 from Dec 14!

We had earlier reported that Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Indian 2 with director Shankar is all set to begin from December 3, 2018; Now director Shankar in a recent interaction has confirmed that his film will begin from second week of December, more precisely from December 14, 2018. 

If one may recall, Kamal Haasan did a look test earlier this month in his most famous 'Indian Thatha' getup for his character Senapathy in the film. And ever since, an official announcement on the film has been hugely anticipated. Director Shankar while speaking about his next sequel also added,

"..what are issues that are bothering me, the news stories that are disturbing me, those are all my driving force to make Indian 2,.."

The shooting for Indian 2 is expected to complete by 2019 and the film is most likely to release in the summer of 2020. Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Ravi Varman and art by T. Muthuraj while Kajal Aggarwal, Dulquer Salmaan and Simbu are said to be a part of the cast.
