Thalapathy 63 is a challenging genre, reveals the film's art director!

 

Actor Vijay's upcoming film Thalapathy 63 is currently in the midst of cast announcements, and at this time the film's art director T. Muthuraj has revealed some details about the film in a recent interview. He said, 
"We have begun the pre-production work for Thalapathy 63. The work and R&D is going on right now. Its kind of a new genre..Films of that genre have come before in Tamil cinema, but this area (of Thalapathy 63) is new..It's a different type of challenge to work on it.."

We know from various media reports that Thalapathy 63 is a sports genre film and even the first poster of the movie indicated the same. We also are aware of director Atlee's declarations about the film, wherein he said that this project will not follow the regular 5 songs and 3 fight sequences formula. Now, T. Muthuraj's statements only adds to the curiosity surrounding the film's genre.

Thalapathy 63 is expected to go on floors from January, 2019 and has Nayanthara for female lead, A.R. Rahman for music, G.K. Vishnu for cinematography, Anl Arasu for stunts. Vivek for lyrics and Ruben for the edits. The movie is produced by AGS Entertainment and plans to hit theater screens for Diwali 2019.
