Day 3: Sarkar becomes the highest grosser in 2018 beating Kaala

Vijay's Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss which hit the screens for Diwali has achieved yet another milestone on Day 3. The film has grossed around Rs. 64 cr in Tamil Nadu alone and has become the highest grossing Tamil film this year beating Rajinkanth's Kaala.

Sarkar collected around Rs. 13 cr in Tamil Nadu on Day 3 and its domestic total for 3 days stands at Rs. 95+ cr. Except for Kerala, the film is doing well in Karnataka and AP / TG (Andhra Pradesh / Telangana). The film is doing well at the Overseas Box Office as well and has reportedly collected over 35+ cr in 3 days. 

Day 4: Sarkar grosses Rs. 150 crore in 4 days worldwide

Sarkar has crossed Rs. 150 cr mark worldwide in 4 days and it the fastest Vijay's film to have achieved this feat. This is Vijay's third film to enter Rs. 150 cr club.

In Chennai city, the film has grossed Rs. 7.33 cr in 4 days. In Tamil Nadu, it has minted over Rs. 75+ crore in 4 days and is expected to cross Rs. 100 crore mark by the end of this weekend. The film has crossed Rs. 10 cr mark in AP / TG.
