Only recently, actor Karthi's upcoming movie Dev had a first look poster release and since the film is planning on releasing on December 21, 2018, an update on the film's teaser was anticipated on. Curbing that anticipation, editor of the film Ruben has hinted about the teaser release by posting:

Directed by debutant Rajat Ravishankar, Dev has Rakul Preet Singh playing female lead and is produced by Prince Pictures in association with Reliance Entertainment. The movie is touted to be an action entertainer and has Harris Jayaraj for music.
