Superstar Rajinikanth's sci-fi extravaganza 2.0 is one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema. Directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, the film is slated for release on November 29, 2018. NVR Cinema has acquired the distribution rights of the film for Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson starrer 2.0 is the sequel of the 2010 film 'Enthiran'. The film has been making a huge buzz ever since its announcement. The film reportedly is made on a humongous budget of over Rs 500 crore. AR Rahman has scored the music. In 2.0, Rajinikanth will reprise his Enthiran role as Dr Vaseegaran and the robot Chitti. The film also marks Akshay's debut in the Tamil film industry.
