Ratsasan starring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles directed by Mundasupatti director Ramkumar turned out to be a surprise hit at the Box Office this year. The film which hit the screens on October 5, 2018 fetched rave reviews from all quarters and has been declared a 'blockbuster'by the trade. Ratsasan has successfully completed 25 days theatrical run. The film has done extremely well in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka and is still holding on well in these states in its fourth week. Vishnu Vishal shared the news on his social media page.

The positive word-of-mouth has impacted the film's business to a great extent. The screen counts were increased substantially in its second week. Ratsasan has grossed Rs. 18 cr at the domestic box office. In the overseas, the film managed to mint around Rs. 1.58 cr ($215k).

Karnataka - Rs. 0.78 cr

Rest Of India - Rs. 0.30 cr

Total - Rs. 18 cr

In Chennai city, the film has earned Rs. 2.85 cr in 24 days and is still among the Top 5 movies leading at the Box Office.
