Dhanush's Vada Chennai gets censored

Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai' directed by Vetrimaaran is gearing up for release on October 17, 2018 for the pooja holidays. The film has completed the censor formalities and has been given an 'A' certificate. The film has been awarded an 'A' as it is a raw gangster film with elements of violence. Dhanush shared the news on his Twitter page.

Vada Chennai is a first part of a triology and has Dhanush playing a carrom board player. Set in north Chennai, the movie is said to track 30 years of the life of a gangster. Also starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Samuthirakani, Andreah and Ameer among others, Vada Chennai is produced by Wunderbar Films and will be presented by Lyca Productions. The film has Santhosh Narayanan for music, Velraj for cinematography and G.B. Venkatesh for edits.
