Suriya is currently shooting in Kulu Manali for Suriya 37 directed by KV Anand. The Manali schedule is expected to be wrapped by tomorrow and the team will return to Chennai. According to sources, Suriya will be joining NGK team for the final schedule of the film. However an official announcement is awaited from the makers. Suriya fans have been eagerly awaited for some new updates from the team which is likely to happen once the final schedule kick starts as per plan. 

NGK starring Suriya, Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles is directed by Selvaragavan. The film bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film which was initially slated for Diwali release was postponed as the film shooting couldn't be completed on time and also the lead actor Suriya had started shooting for Suriya 37 as he had already allotted his dates for the film.

On the other hand, leaked pictures from Suriya 37 sets suggest that Mohanlal is playing role of Prime Minister and his character name is Chandrakanth Varma. Suriya plays a high ranking NSG (National Security Guard) official who provides security to the Prime Minister. Suriya had also interacted with few NSG officials in Delhi to get into the skin of his character.
