Ony yesterday, we reported that director Sasikumar had been added to the cast of Petta, actor Rajinikanth's next with director Karthik Subbaraj and now producers Sun Pictures have made an official announcement on the same.
Reportedly, Sasikumar's role is a cameo in this upcoming action-drama and he is already said to have joined the team which is shooting at Varanasi, UP. Petta is Rajinikanth's 165th film and has an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Nawazuddin Siddique, Megha Akash, Simran, Guru Somasundaram, Sanath Reddy and Munish Kanth among others.
The movie which has Anirudh Ravichander for music recently had a second look poster release, depicting Rajinikanth with a handlebar moustache.
