Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV) has had a thunderous opening weekend at the Box office ever since its release on Friday (Sep 27). The film opened to positive reviews from critics and audience alike. CCV has been doing spectacular business in TN and overseas markets. The film is expected to rake in more numbers at the Box Office with Gandhi Jayanthi being a holiday tomorrow (October 2).

CCV is ruling the TN Box Office this week with a gross estimate of Rs. 27 - 28 cr in its opening weekend. The film collected Rs. 6.7 crore on its opening day and has become the fourth highest grosser this year. The film has witnessed the highest collection on Sunday (Day 4) and has minted Rs. 7.5+ cr. The film has grossed Rs. 53+ crore worldwide in its opening weekend.

In Chennai City, the film has earned Rs. 3.78 cr in its opening weekend and its leading at the top at the Box Office this week.
