GV Prakash's 17th film directed by Vasantha Balan has been titled Jail. Abarnathi of "Enga Veetu Mappillai" fame his making her debut as heroine with this film. GV Prakash shared the first look of the film on his Twitter page.

GV Prakash Kumar made his debut as music composer with ace dictor Vasanthabalan’s critically acclaimed ‘Veyil’, which released in 2006. GV Prakash is collaborating with Vasantha Balan for the second time. Apart from playing hte lead role he will be scoring the music of the film as well. The film also starring Nanthan Ram, Paandi, Radhika, Jennifer, Baahubali villain Prabhakar is produced by Krikes Cine Creations. The shooting of the film is in its final stages.
