Naveen made his directorial debut with Moodar Koodam, a black comedy film which hit the screens in 2013. He also acted in the film apart from producing it. After five years, Naveen is back with second directorial venture. The film titled Alaudhinin Arputha Camera is touted to be a fantasy adventure thriller. The pilot teaser of the film has been released by the makers.

Naveen plays the lead role in the film while Kayal Anandhi plays the female lead. Producer S. Nandagopal Produced by Naveen’s home banner, White Shadow productions, the film has completely been shot abroad. The film is currently in the post production stage. Music by Natarajan Sankaran. 

Naveen's second production venture Kolanji starring Samuthirakani and Sanghavi in the lead roles is yet to release. He will be teaming up with Vijay Antony for his next project.
