Director Bala has finalised the music composer for his upcoming film Varma, which is the Tamil remake of the Telugu super-hit Arjun Reddy. Radhan who scored the music for the originial Arjun Reddy has been brought on board to score the music for the Tamil remake Varma as well. Music composer Radhan confirmed the news on his Facebook page.

Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram plays the lead role. Bengali Model Megha makes her debut as heroine in Varma. The film reportedly is not an exact remake of Arjun Reddy as only the core theme of the film has been retained and about 60% of the film is totally different from the original. Varma is produced by E4 Entertainment and has M. Sukumar for cinematography, Radhan for music and Joker director Raju Murugan for dialogues.
