Movie is clean entertainer with adrenaline pumping action scenes and strong screenplay! Vijay's screen presence is electrifying throughout and every cast and crew did their part very well. climax was great with gud message!Overall great masala muvi with flavour of super hero! bac 2 bac hits for thalapathy ;-) Verdict 3/5 go for it!

Honest review-first 30 mins mokka.after tat movie picks up pace.It drags a little bit in the second half but surely worth a watch for commercial movie lovers.Vijay had good screen presence.Santhanam rocked,Vijay antony bgm was very good at places.Honestly climax could have been shorter.Surely better tan 7th sense.

Film is not up to the mark. Again vijay comes with an masala movie. He has taken his movies to promote his politics agenda. The first half was slow, comedy scenes are ok. When compared to the first half second half was little bit racy. Never compared ghilli with velayutham, ghilli is way better than this.
first half is full comedy with no over acting or illogical stunts. second half first thirty minutes dragging after that again comedy with sandanam lifts the movie.and the climax is good in this movie.
Just back from the movie. Sema movie. It's a pucca emotional Rollercoster. Best Scene in the movie, :
First fifteen minutes with Gene before Vj intro, Gave me goosebumps. Post interval Vj Tranformation scene. Semma Mass.
Disappointing The story is as old as hills and the sequences are stale and repeated.  Nothing special to mention in Vijay's action, stunts and even his comical scenes irritate a lot. The only change from his earlier flicks is...his bubbly face! As usual he delivers half a dozen meaningless punch dialogues..M. Raja totally failed to cover even some of the die hard Vijay fans with his unimpressive narration, expected twists and amateur direction.  santhanam comedy was only relief in secondhalf drags alot ...
Nothing new usual masala flick 2/5 ...
movie is masala entertainer . this time it is enjoyable to extent. time to enjoy for vj fans others once watchable. 3/5 but vijay should stop talking abt politics. ithu enga atchi''intha dialouge thevaya atchi marnathum aapu veikama irukanum vj shd stop these stupid dialouges in his forthcomming movies
