Bala finalises heroine for Varma

Director Bala has finalised the heroine for his upcoming film Varma, which is the Tamil remake of the Telugu super-hit Arjun Reddy. Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram plays the lead role. Model Megha who hails from Bengal makers her debut as heroine in Varma reports a leading weekly magazine. Megha is a Kathak dancer, anchor and model who is also doing her graduation in Mumbai. Interestingly her character name in the film also happens to be Megha. 

The film reportedly is not an exact remake of Arjun Reddy as only the core theme of the film has been retained. Megha has said that the audience will like Varma more than Arjun Reddy as about 60% of the film is totally different from the original. 

Bigg Boss fame Raiza Wilson will be seen in a special appearance for a dance number in the film. Varma is produced by E4 Entertainment and has M. Sukumar for cinematography, Radhan for music and Joker director Raju Murugan for dialogues.
