30 minutes of Thanos' back story to be included in Avengers: Infinity War home edition!

In all the time across the the 16 movies that lead us to Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, viewers have not gotten much to see about the ultimate villain of them all, ThanosTo those new to the name, Thanos is a sinister purple titan and his pursuit of infinity stones (to power his Infinity Gauntlet), is the basis for some of Marvel's most significant story arcs. The last Marvel movie, Avengers: Infinity War movie depicted Thanos on a killing spree with his army (children of Thanos) on the pretext of saving another planet from facing ultimate destruction i.e run out of natural resources. He sees reducing the population of a planet into half as the only solution and has taken it upon him to achieve that with a snap of his finger.

But there is more to Thanos' back story as depicted in the Marvel comics and apparently the makers of Avengers: Infinity War had shot some of them too. But due to the cuts in the movie, those scenes had to be left behind but now 30 minutes of them will be included in the home media edition of the film. This information was let slip by Thanos creator Jim Starlin during a Las Vegas Comic Con though Starlin didn't reveal how or when this cut will come.

What we know of this Thanos character from the comics is that he was a mishap even as a baby and it drove his own mother so mad that she tried to kill her newborn at first sight. Thanos is in love with Lady Death and his killings are often attributed as a gesture to her. Thanos' search of a worthy adversary lead him to Tyrant, a living machine and the created son of a cosmic being known as Galactus, who eats entire worlds in order to sustain himself. Thanos later triumphs over Tyrant, son of Galactus. Thanos watched his home planet die of natural resources which first lead him to this planet hopping cum wiping out half the population mission. We wonder how much of this will be added to the movie's home edition.
