AGS Entertainment's upcoming horror comedy Love Bite has officially commenced production, with the makers unveiling a pooja ceremony video alongside a cast announcement on Tuesday.

Aparna Das joins Santhanam as the female lead, with VTV Ganesh, Adithya Kathir, Anandaraj, Bjorn Surrao, Rajendran, Muthukumar, Nirosha, Redin Kingsley, and Kalki Raja also added to the cast.

Directed by Selvin Raj Xavier, who debuted with Conjuring Kannappan, Love Bite appears to be a zombie-themed entertainer — with the neon-lit first-look poster drawing instant comparisons to RL Stine's Goosebumps series, featuring tombstones and the undead clawing their way out of burial sites.

On the technical front, Pradeep E Ragav handles editing and Yuva is the cinematographer. A music composer is yet to be announced. Archana Kalpathi serves as creative producer, with Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh producing under AGS Entertainment.
