Kazhugu 2 is a sequel to Kazhugu which released in 2012. The film, based on real-life incidents, showcased the lives of people who recover bodies of suicide victims who jump off a cliff. Krishna and Bindu Madhavi played the lead roles in Kazhugu directed by Sathya Siva. Yuvan Shankar Raja had scored the music.

The core team including Krishana, Bindu Madhavi, Sathya Siva and Yuvan Shankar Raja are part of the sequel as well. The film went on floors today after a formal pooja launch event. The team is currently in Munnar, Kerala for the shoot. The first look poster is out. Kazhugu2 is produced by GK Studios.
