Karthik Naren, Venkat Prabhu for Simbu's next?

 

As reported by us earlier, one of the many projects that actor Simbu's  (STR) is committed to is a collaboration with the late B. Nagi Reddy's production house Vijaya Vauhini Studios, who in recent years have produced films like  Bairavaa, Veeram, Vengai, Padikadhavan, Thamirabharani and the like. Now, word has it D16 director Karthick Naren who has been waiting long for the release of his Naragasooran has narrated a script to Simbu for this project. Reportedly, the director has put his already announced project of Nadaga Medai on hold and if green-lit will be working on Simbu's film first.
 
We had also reported of Simbu committing to a film with producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. Apparently director Venkat Prabhu who was seen photographed with Simbu a few days earlier is discussing stories for this project, which we hear will be co-produced by Suresh Kamatchi. This collaboration may be a high budgeted one as the team is planning on roping in composer A.R. Rahman for music. 

Though none of these team-ups have been officially confirmed as yet, the line-up sure looks interesting for STR, who not too long ago went through a career-low before finding reprise in Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
