A leaked phone conversation between STR and his AAA director Adhik Ravichandran has been doing the rounds online, prominently since yesterday. The call has a very emotional, distressed STR telling Adhik about how he felt let down by the director's decision to go and attend the press meet of AAA producer Michael Rayappan where he accused STR of complete non-cooperation, leading to heavy financial losses.
 
In this phone call, Adhik is on the backfoot throughout and tries to tell STR that he didn't tell anything wrong at the press meet and was just there as a mark of solidarity with his producer. Adhik expresses his helplessness in this whole issue and tells STR how he was hearing weird, worrying things about STR trying to harm him and destroy his career. STR retorts saying that he doesn't bother about outsiders talking bad things about him but that he didn't expect a close friend and brotherly figure like Adhik to go against him, without knowing the actual truth. STR says that he'll never think or plot bad against anyone, more so for a friend like Adhik and that he'll always be there for Adhik.

STR also tells Adhik that another hero (which anyone can guess) is behind this entire thing which was designed to bring down his image and career. In the call, STR gets really emotional when talking about Rayappan's accusation that he'll do anything for money and also the infamous 'dubbing from the bathroom' comment. He tells Adhik that Rayappan deliberately pulled AAA out of many Chennai city theaters after just 5 days in running.

We have to see if this controversy takes any more turns.
