Nivetha Pethuraj to play the female lead in Prabhu Deva's next

Actor / director / choregrapher Prabhu Deva will be next seen in a movie playing a police officer, which is a first in his career. The movie is an out-and-out action entertainer set in Chennai and is based on a real-life incident. Kanden director A.C. Mugil is returning to Tamil films with this yet untitled film and Mugil has earlier worked with Prabhu Deva as a writer in the latter's Bollywood directorials such as Action Jackson(2014), Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013) and Rowdy Rathore(2012)

The latest update about the film is that actress Nivetha Pethuraj has been roped into play the female lead role.

The film will be produced by Nemichand Jhabak of Jhabak Movies. The other information's about the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
