Vada Chennai release plan and details of Dhanush's upcoming films revealed!

 

Actor Dhanush is on a promotional spree for this debut international film The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir and in one of his promotional interviews, the actor has spilled the beans on his upcoming line-up of films. The actor revealed that Vetrimaaran directed Vada Chennai is currently in the final edit and will most probably release in August, 2018, while also reiterating that as announced earlier, he will begin his next directorial with Sri Thenandal Films the same month.

Dhanush also went on to confirm that he is indeed doing a film with Raanjhana director Anand L Rai but that the pre-production of that project will only begin post the end of this year. His sequel film Maari 2 was also spoken about, and Dhanush said that the release of Maari 2 will follow Vada Chennai (i.e. post August). He however preferred to maintain silence on Gautham Menon directed Enai Noki Payyum Thota, which has already been delayed for a long time now.
