The makers of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu (IAMK) had planned to release the movie on May 4, 2018. However TFPC had to make final decision to release the film on the mentioned date as per new norms after the end of the film industry strike. While there were earlier reports that the film release is yet to be approved by the Producer's Council, an official letter confirming the release date is out now.

IAMK is an adult horror comedy film directed by Santhosh P. Jayakumar of 'Hara Hara Mahadevaki' fame. The film stars Gautham Karthik, Vaibhavi Shandilya in the lead roles. Karunakaran , Rajendran, Bala Saravanan, Jhon Vijay play pivotal roles. The movie has musical score by Balamurali Balu.
