Singam starring Karthi, Sayyeshaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles is directed by Pandiraj. The film shooting has been wrapped. The entire cast and crew marked the occasion with a cake cutting ceremony.  

The film, a rural family entertainer, set in the village milieu deals with family values, joint family system and agriculture as the core theme. Sathyaraj plays the role of Karthi's father. He is the youngest brother with 5 elder sisters. Karthi plays the role of a farmer. Viji Chandrasekhar, Banupriya, Mounika, Yuvarani are also part of the cast.

The film, which will also be released in Telugu as Chinna Babu, features music composed by D. Imman and cinematography by Velraj. The film is produced by Suriya.
