Actor Arya's ongoing bride-hunt, also known as the TV show on Colors Enga Veetu Mappillai, has been quite controversial in nature. The show which has earlier faced backlash from people at Kumbakonam (the crew were not allowed to shoot at one of the contestant's house and sent back) and some internet users including BJP's H.Raja on the 'religious topic', was also facing a Public interest litigation from the Southern Districts Women Federation and Adi Thamilar Peravai a few months ago. Now, lyricist Vivek who is popularly known as the writer of Aalaporan Tamizhan song from Vijay starrer Mersal, has lashed out at both Arya and his show Enga Veetu Mapillai through his twitter page.
Enga Veetu Maapillai..Seriously?

Enga Veetu Mappillai airs from Monday to Friday between 8.30 PM - 9.30 PM on Colors TV and the show features 16 girls fighting it out against each other to end up marrying actor Arya. The show's format has not gone down too well with a section of the viewers and this latest tweet from Vivek only sums up the cumulative thought-process of those.
