To my dearest Tamil audience: Karthik Subbaraj apologizes for Mercury!

 

Karthik Subbraraj directed Mercury was supposed to hit theatre screens today and there was already a debate of whether or not the film should be releasing in Tamil Nadu, amidst the ongoing TFPC Strike. Mercury that has Prabhu Deva in the lead did release today; however it did not make it to the theatre screens of Karthik's home state of Tamil Nadu. Apologising for the same, the director has sent out a note to his audience and has explained his reasons. He has also requested his fans to wait for the movie rather than resorting to pirated versions.
