The picture of Kamal Haasan sporting a handlebar moustache has gone viral on social media giving rise to speculations that this is the new look of Kamal Haasan for his upcoming film Indian2.

Actor-turned-politican Kamal Haasan is actively involved in politics after the launch of his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam last month. The actor even before the launch of his new party had announced that he will be completing his pre-committed projects Sabash Naidu and Indian 2. Also Vishwaroopam2, the long-delayed sequel to 'Vishwaroopam', has been censored and a release date is yet to be announced.

According to reports, the pre-production work for Indian 2 is progressing in full swing and the film shoot will happen at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. Kamal’s new look has increased the curiosity factor that the actor is gearing up for Indian2 shoot.

Kamal Haasan is collaborating with filmmaker Shankar for ‘Indian 2’. ‘Indian 2’ is a sequel to the blockbuster 1996 film of the same name. Indian 2 is bankrolled by Telugu producer Dil Raju. Shankar has wrapped the shooting of Rajnikanth’s 2.0 and is busy with the post production of the film.
