Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 has recently completed its censor formalities and has been issued a U/A certificate. The makers are planning to release the film during summer holidays. The teaser or trailer of the film is expected to be be released post the film industry strike. Interestingly, this long-awaited movie will be Kamal Haasan's first release after his political entry.

Vishwaroopam 2 will simultaneously release in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, and the film has Ghibran scoring the music. Also starring Pooja Kumar, Andreah, Rahul Bose, Shekar Kapur among others, the movie is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and will be released by Aascar Films.
