Actor Santhanam is all set to team up with his favourite director M Rajesh for a new project. The combo has churned out blockbuster comedy films like Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Bhaskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Santhanam has always been the lucky mascot for Rajesh. He had played a key role in all Rajesh’s films.

Santhanam – Rajesh project is likely to be bankrolled by Prabhu Deva’s home banner Prabhu Deva Studios. Sri Thenandal Films who had initially announced the project has reportedly opted out following which Prabhu Deva has taken over the production of the film. However an official confirmation is awaited on the same.

Actor Santhanam is currently busy shooting for ‘Dhilluku Dhuddu’ sequel at Hyderabad. His long delayed film 'Server Sundaram' is gearing up for summer release.
