The first look poster of Vetrimaaran directed Vada Chennai featuring Dhanush in the lead has been released. The poster shows a smiling Dhanush in handcuffs and about to get down from a police van. The leading lady Aishwariya Rajesh also seems to be happy.

The second poster shows Dhanush with a knife in his mouth, is climbing a rope, and trying to board ship in the middle of a sea. 

The film is a first part of a triology and has Dhanush playing a carrom board player. Also starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Samuthirakani, Andreah and Ameer among others.

Vada Chennai is produced by Wunderbar Films and will be presented by Lyca Productions. The film has Santhosh Narayanan for music, Velraj for cinematography and G.B. Venkatesh for edits.
