Nadodigal 2 begins shooting

 

Earlier this month, we had reported about Nadodigal 2 in the talks of happening with the directors turned actors Samuthirakani and Sasikumar all set to reunite. Now, the film has taken off with an official pooja ceremony that took place recently and has begun shooting. The sequel stars Sasikumar, Anjali and Atulya Ravi and will mostly be shot in and around Madurai. It has been confirmed that the film is neither a direct sequel nor hold any connection with Nadodigal but the title has merely been used for its popularity.

 

Nadodigal 2 will be a break from acting for Samuthirakani, who has close to 8 films (including Rajinikanth starrer Kaala) lined up for a release this year. The film is produced by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises and has Justin Prabhakaran for music, Ekambaram for cinematography, Jackie for the art, Ramesh for editing and Dileep Subbarayan for the stunts.
