Maavayan 's Telugu Version Project Z lands deep in controversy


On December 29, 2017, actor Sundeep Kishan took to his twitter account to report about an illegal screening of Project Z, the Telugu version of CV Kumar's directorial debut Maayavan. Now, post the box-office debacle, the Telugu version producer SK Basheed created a ruckus lashing out at the hero and asked others to avoid making films with him. It is worth mentioning here that SK Basheed is dubbed by the Telugu media as a "controversial personality" and support has been pouring in for the Maanagaram actor from every nook and corner.

 
Maayavan also starrs Lavanya Tripathi, Jackie Shroff and Daniel Balaji among others and opened to mixed reviews on December 14, 2017. The movie and the actor have also received a vote of support from Singer - Writer Rakendu Mouli, who rendered his voice for Sundeep in Project Z and Telugu producer Venu Gopal.
