Velaikkaran passes the opening test with flying colours

After its extended 4-days opening weekend, Velaikkaran has grossed 29.65 CR in TN which is extraordinary by all means. The film has been very steady at high levels. The 4-days total Chennai city gross is 3.82 CR.

Velaikkaran still has a very long way to go as it has to gross more than 70 CR to be safe in TN. The New Year weekend and the lack of any big films till Pongal will prove advantageous to Velaikkaran's run.
