Debut director Sinish's upcoming movie Balloon recently had a trailer release and addressing the media during the same, Sinish stated that his film, which is a horror-comedy is inspired fom about 30-40 Hollywood films and he has credited every one of them in his title credits. While on the topic, he also added that one cannot make a film like Mouna Raagam and say that they have never watched Mouna Raagam. This may seem like a totally baffling comparison, but if one plays close attention it seems like a sly dig on  Atlee's directorial debut Raja Rani which had traces of Mani Ratnam's cult classic Mouna Ragam.

However, we are not sure if Sinish's statement was an intended dig or just a casual statement that is being read too much into. Featuring Jai, Anjali and Janani Iyer in the lead and hits theatre screens on December 29, 2017. Watch the trailer here :
