Dream Warrior Pictures' latest release Aruvi has been garnering a lot of postive attention with its performance at the box-office and lead Aditi Balan's portrayal of the titular character is receiving no less laurels. Interestingly, it has been revealed that the role of grown-up Aruvi was initially offered to a lot of top names like Shruthi Haasan and Samantha but due to prior commitments, the two couldn't take up the role.

Added to this, the music directors Vedanth Bharadwaj and Bindu Malini whose music was tagged by many as "coming of age" were also not the original choices for the film. Apparently, Santhosh Narayanan was the film-maker's initial choice but the movie eventually went on to the debut musical duo. For a film that comprised of mostly debutantes and did the rounds at Film Festivals for about a year before finally releasing on December 15, 2017, Aruvi sure has exceeded expectations and is deserving of every accolade coming its way.
