Vishwaroopam 2 resumes shooting, film to release for Republic day?

After a hiatus, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is back to shooting as he resumed the final schedule of his sequel film, Vishwaroopam 2. The actor-director is said to be canning a song at Chennai, following which a trailer release is expected of the film. If sources are to be believed, then the trailer release may be as early as December, 2017 with the film hitting theatre screens during the republic day holiday i.e. January 26, 2018.
  
Also starring Pooja Kumar, Andreah, Rahul Bose, Shekar Kapur among others, Vishwaroopam 2 has Ghibran for music with Sanu Varghese and Shamdat Sainudeen for cinematography. The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and will be released by Eros International.
