November 8, 2017 marked an year of the country's most startling movement, Demonetisation. The DeMo effect which was initiated with the aim of eliminating black money has now become a subject of trending media usage including Simbu's latest song from an upcoming film Thattrom Thookurom. Titled Demonetisation Anthem, the song has been sung by STR and composed by Balamurali Balu. Lyricist Kabilan Vairamuthu has penned the number which has already become viral among the online populace.
