MovieCrow Box Office Report - October 6 to October 8

It was a pretty dull weekend at the CBO, with no new releases, due to the TFPC's stance protesting the proposed local tax on top of GST. Solo had a single day run on Oct5 before being pulled out of TN theaters on Oct6. The older films continued to make merry in the available space and Hara Hara Mahadevaki emerged as a genuine Superhit with bigger screens and good occupancies. The coming weekend will continue to remain grim with no new releases. All eyes will be on Vijay's Mersal on Diwali, Oct 18 and also Kodiveeran possibly. Meanwhile, let's hope that the people concerned reach an agreement on ticket rates, local tax and other related technicalities.
