Sun TV bags Rajinikanth starrer Kabali
In a latest development, media giant Sun TV channel has bagged the satellite rights of Rajinikanth's Kabali. This is their third recent acquisition from producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, after Vijay starrer Theri, Dhanush starrer VIP 2. The announcement was made through the channnel's twitter handle :

It was only recently that they acquired the rights of Ajith's Vivegam and Mahesh Babu's SPYder. Also, the channel holds the satellite rights of Nayanthara's Aramm , Prabhudeva's Gulebagavali and the Sivakarthikeyan-Ponram film. Given that they have a digital streaming platform of their own, all these acquisitions are being considered as a major move by the industry trackers.
