About bagging Magalir Mattum and the experience

I auditioned after seeing an open cast-call and ended up getting selected. There were work-shops before shooting and I was thrilled to do a dual role in my very first film. I am forever thankful to director Bramma, Suriya Sir and Jyothika mam for giving me this opportunity to work on their film.

About her role in the film

I loved my portrayal of Rani Amirthakumari, a teen growing up in the 1970s. I could relate the character with my own self and that helped me a lot. If you see the film, you will notice that the similarity between me and Bhanupriya mam .
