Queen Tamil Remake to begin from October?

Its been 3 years since Vikas Bahl's Queen released and its remake news still garners a lot of attention down south. The original Kangana Ranaut starrer has been sold to be remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Tamil remake titled "Rani" will have Kajal Aggarwal reprising the role of Kangana Ranaut. Amy Jackson will be reprising the role of Lisa Haydon (from the original) in all the South remakes.

The latest we hear about the film is that the Tamil remake shoot will begin from October in Madurai. The team had planned also to shoot the film in London, Amsterdam & Paris.

The Tamil and Kannada remake will be directed by actor-director Ramesh Aravind who had earlier directed Kamal Haasan's Uthamavillian. Ramesh had already begun the Kannada version of Queen remake titled butterfly with Parul Yadav in the lead.
