Director Ram's recent release Taramani has been a huge critical success and is slowly but steadily catching up on the commercial side too. Producer Satish of JSK film corporation spoke exclusively to Movie Crow about how their film's theatre screen count has increased ever since its release :

"Taramani  has initially released in 168 screens. Then an additional 19 screens were added followed by 43 more. Today the total screen count stands at 230. In Bangalore we have released the film in 25 screens and in 38 screens in Kerala,"

"The movie released on August 18 (yesterday) in Singapore and Malaysia. In the US, the movie has already released and is running well."

Ask the producer about what lured him into acting in his own film, the producer adds,

"Samuthirakani Sir was initially approached for the role I played. But since he had a lot of other commitments, he couldn't come on board. And we were having trouble finding a suitable replacent and the director suggested that I do the part."

Starring Andreah, Anjali and debutant Vasanth Ravi, Taramani is a bold love story with issues like conflict, money and attraction being the focus. The movie released on August 11, 2017 and has been running successfully ever since.
