MovieCrow Chennai City Box Office Report - August 11 to 13

August 11 saw the release of three notable Tamil films, in the form of VIP2, Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam (PEMT) and Taramani. We also had Akshay Kumar's Toilet Ek Prem Katha (TEPK). The Top5 at the CBO this past weekend and their total Chennai city gross are as follows,

Meesaya Murukku follows at 6th place, and its 24 days' Chennai city gross is 2.28 CR. It's a proven Superhit. Jab Harry Met Sejal crashed in Week2 after a good Week1. It has grossed a decent 1.05 CR in Chennai city after 10 days in running but doesn't have the scope to add more to this,  due to very limited show count. 


All these films and the other films in running would be looking to make the most of the Aug15 holiday tomorrow.
