Recently, an intriguing first look of Raatchasan featuring lead actor Vishnu Vishal was released by the movie-makers. Talking exclusively to MovieCrow about the attention it has been receiving, director of the film Ram Kumar said:

"Yes, we wanted to release the first look for Vishnu Vishal's birthday. Raatchasan is a psycho thriller film and it will have no songs. All the songs have been shot as montages and currently we are busy with the post production. Our movie will release after Kathanaayagan, around sometime post Diwali" 

Raatchasan is Axess Film Factory's third production venture and has Amala Paul playing a teacher in it. The story of the film is said to revolve around what happens when an aspiring director turned police-man, uses his script for solving a murder mystery. The film has Ghibran for the music and San Lokesh for the edits.
