Director Ameer to replace Vijay Sethupathi in Vada Chennai?

Actor Vijay Sethupathi not being a part of Vada Chennai is old news (read about it here). What's latest is that the role which was supposed to be donned by him and which has been which been dubbed by the makers as an extended cameo, has now been offered to actor-director Ameer. Apparently, Ameer is yet to give his nod and if everything goes will, the team of Vada Chennai will begin their third schedule later this week.

Touted to the first part of a gangster triology, Vada Chennai has Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead and is the directorial venture of Vetrimaaran. The film also has Andreah Jeremaiah and actor-director Samuthirakani playing prominent roles in it.
