Actress Tamannah signs her next with the Kolaiyuthir Kaalam team

While her feature film Baahubali : The Conclusion is making waves with its trailer, actress Tamannah Bhatia is making waves of her own by announcing details about her next film. The actress will be seen reprising the role of Nayanthara in the Hindi remake of the movie in the making, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam. The Hindi version will also be helmed by the original director Chakri Toleti (of Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa 2 fame), thus marking his debut in Bollywood. Popular Bollywood production house Pooja Entertainment Pvt Ltd (Vasu Bhagnani), who debuted in Kollywood by bankrolling the original project along with Yuvan Shankar Raja's YSR Films, have acquired the Hindi remake rights as well. Interestingly, Pooja Entertainment had earlier produced Tamannah starrer Himmatwala, Humshakals and presented the Bollywood version of Devi titled Tutak Tutak Tutiya. The yet untitled Hindi remake will have Prabhu Deva playing the antagonist and also star Bhumika Chawla in an important role. 

The team of the original Kolaiyuthir Kaalam are currently shooting in London and are the first ones to do so with a Red Epic-W camera with a resolution of 8K. Though the cast of the Tamil version is unknown, the technical team includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music, Hollywood's Robby Baumgartner for cinematography and Rameshwar S Bhagat for the edits.
