Maattrraan all areas sold-out for record price 

One of the censor officials who could not keep the excitement bottled up appears to have spilled the beans about Maattrraan. The word that is spreading is that it is going to be a fun-filled emotional ride with equal dose of commercial and realistic elements. Also, the vote of confidence from people involved in the final post-production stage has prompted Studio Green to make a huge investment in Maattrraan for the last few unsold areas.

Studio Green buys NSC, Salem and TK

On Saturday, Studio Green announced buying sub-distribution rights for Chenglepet, North Arcot (NSC), Salem, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari (TK). The distribution rates are estimated to be more than 12 Crores for NSC, and more than 8 Crores for Salem, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari taking the tally for these 3 regions to around Rs 20 Crores.

An NSC area exhibitor confided that the highest distribution price paid so far this year(2012) has not exceeded 9 Crores. In the past, Enthiran and Sivaji had been the only two movies which were sold north of 10 Crores for this region. Now, Suriya's Maattrraan has joined this exclusive club.
