Trisha and Arvind Swamy Team Up For Sathuranga Vettai 2

Actor Arvind Swamy made his Kollywood comeback last year with Thani Oruvan and the movie placed him right back at his popularity spot. The actor later went on to host the currently running Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi,  in which again his mettle was proved. So with an audience appeal as bankable as his, it is no wonder that he has recently been signed on to star as a lead in the second edition of Sathuranga Vettai. The movie which is titled Sadhuranga Vettai 2 will see Trisha sharing screen space with Arvind Swamy, who was last seen playing a lead in the year 99's release En Swasa Kaatrae. 

Actor-Director Mano Bala who turned producer with Sadhuranga Vettai will be bankrolling the second edition too. The confirmed cast so far includes names like Nasser, Radha Ravi, Sreeman, Ponvannan among others. Unlike its prequel which dealt with issues in rural areas, Sadhuranga Vettai 2 is said to be an urban centric movie. Story and screenplay is by S. Vinoth and Nirmal Kumar (of Salim fame) has been signed on for direction. Music of the movie will be handled by Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy with Venkatesh handling the camera.
